CHRISTIAN GROUP CONDEMNS SOUTHERN KADUNA KILLINGS
29 FEARED DEAD AS GUNMEN ATTACK KADUNA COMMUNITY


Suspected gunmen don attack Naridon (Kizakoro) Community for Kamaru Ward, Kauru LGA, Kaduna State late Sunday night.

Dem fear say no fewer than 29 people don die for di attack wey happen around 11:55pm on July 26, 2026.
At least 3 people injured, while gunmen set houses and provision shops ablaze.

Di reason why dem attack never clear yet as we dey file this report.

Community sources list some of di victims as: Geoffrey Monday, Maria Pius, Ladi Monday, Tabawa Monday, Guntu Balla, Enock Balla, Markus Gashi, Mariyamu Joseph, Maria Istifanus, Nuhu Bulus, Bulus Markus, Ayalla Markus, Monday Danladi, Kaka Umaru, Gundumi Umaru, Joy Ali, Dominion Danladi, Danladi Ibrahim, Mama Ibrahim, Deborah Emmanuel, Friday Emmanuel, Yusuf Emmanuel, Yunana Emmanuel, Irimiya Emmanuel, Pheobe Markus, Saviour Monday, Audi Musa and Sunday Yakubu.

Three other people - Comfort Monday, Success Monday and James Emmanuel - dey hospital with different degrees of injury.

Di gunmen also burn di house of Mr Hosea Garba, and provision shops wey belong to Emmanuel Garba, Luka Ahmadu, Monday Markus and Dogo Rana.

As we dey talk now, Kaduna State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs and security agencies never release official statement.

Dis attack na one of di deadliest wey don happen for Southern Kaduna in recent months. E don raise fresh worry about security for di area.

CHRISTIAN GROUP TALK
Di group wey call demsef Christians in Politics (CIP) don condemn di killing. Dem dey beg President Bola Tinubu, Governor Uba Sani and security agencies make dem intensify effort to arrest di people wey kill about 30 people - mostly women and children - for Naridon village.

CIP talk say di attack na “act of terror” and say targeting innocent men, women and children na evil, ungodly and e break di right to life and freedom of worship wey Constitution dey guarantee.

National Coordinator of CIP, Dr Shallangwa Hassana, talk for statement wey e release on Monday say:
“We receive with grief, anger and utter dismay di report of coordinated attack on di peaceful community of Naridon, Kamaru Ward, Kauru LGA of Kaduna State on 27 th July 2026
